These terms cover MedCostMap, the service on this website. The only operator name published in this project is Saga Dog Corp. Saga Dog Corp is a Florida corporation based in Miami.
Informational only
The site is general information. It is not medical advice, financial advice, insurance advice, or legal advice. It does not tell you what treatment to have, where to go, or what you will be billed. Your price depends on the clinician, the facility, and your plan. Ask them. Talk with a licensed clinician before you make a treatment or travel decision.
Estimates may be wrong or outdated
Numbers on the site can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date.
- Medicare figures are historical averages for the clinician’s professional fee from public CMS data. They leave out hospital and facility fees, anesthesia, and other bills.
- International procedure figures are published survey and facilitator estimates, in the ranges those sources give. Where this project has no credible source, the cell is left blank on purpose. A blank is not a price of zero.
- Stay costs use U.S. State Department foreign per diem maximums. That is an official ceiling for government travel, not a typical tourist price.
- Airfare is whatever you type. The site does not look up a fare.
- Exchange rates come from Frankfurter’s copy of European Central Bank reference rates. Some currencies have no rate on that list, and rates move.

Sources are credited on the site and next to the figures: CMS for Medicare fees, the cited price surveys for international estimates, the U.S. State Department for per diem, and Frankfurter / the European Central Bank for exchange rates. MedCostMap is not affiliated with or endorsed by CMS, Medicare, the State Department, the European Central Bank, the AMA, or any hospital or clinician.
No doctor-patient relationship
Using the site does not create a doctor-patient relationship. It does not make Saga Dog Corp, or anyone who works on the site, your doctor, insurer, lawyer, or financial adviser. If a human review of a comparison is offered later, that review is a second look at the numbers and the sources. It is not medical care, and it still does not create a doctor-patient relationship.
No guarantee of travel costs
Nothing on the site guarantees a procedure price, a hotel rate, an airfare, a total trip cost, a savings figure, an appointment, or the quality of care. A clinic, airline, or hotel does not have to honor a number you saw here. Get an itemized written quote before you travel, including implants, anesthesia, and hospital nights. You are responsible for complications, follow-up care at home, and whatever your own plan does or does not cover.
Waitlist
The optional plans are not for sale. Joining the waitlist does not reserve a price, create an account, or obligate anyone to launch a plan. By joining you agree to these terms and the Privacy page. The waitlist may be closed. A signup is stored only when a database is connected; until then the request is refused and nothing is saved.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, Saga Dog Corp and the people who work on MedCostMap are not liable for harm or loss that results from using the site, or from being unable to use it. That includes a treatment or travel decision, a bill that does not match an estimate, a trip, lost money, or a waitlist signup that is not saved. Some laws do not allow a limit like this. Where they do not, this limit applies only as far as the law allows.
Changes
We may change these terms, the lookups, the comparisons, or the waitlist by posting an update on this page. The date at the top will change when the terms change. If you keep using the site after that, you are agreeing to the updated terms. If you joined the waitlist and you do not agree with a change, ask to be removed using the contact on the privacy page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any dispute about the site or these terms will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The operator named on the site is Saga Dog Corp. Privacy practices, including how to ask for deletion, are on the privacy page.
